Urban poverty in slum settlements in the major cities like Kathmandu is a growing issue on the Nepalese context. Urban services provided by the governing authority are not sufficient for the slum citizens. For them, it may be a far cry in receiving basic services from municipal authorities in Kathmandu. In this context, Samudayik Sarathi implemented 60 days field survey program on 55 slum settlements of Kathmndu valley.
